I really like your style for this illustration. You've succeed to gave this 70s feels. The warm and simple colors.. I just like it!
I though too make this better, I think you should to put concern on perspective. This looks like the (imagination) photographer is much taller then the mouse (her name is Nonny?), except if this what you wanted. Usually, the firmament limit for the picture to make it have a good perspective is equal to the object's eyes. You made the field limit so taller then the mouse's eyes, it made her looks really short, while the shack is looks really short too cause you draw it from upper side while the camera is under that high.
But you know, that's just for serious drawing. Usually children books style didn't give much concern for something technical like that.
